Paul Stuart is one of my favorite men’s stores. It was beloved by my grandfather, Ralph, my style icon. He loved Paul Stuart and Brooks Brothers and was a pro a mixing the staid traditional clothes of BB with the flair of Paul Stuart’s.
The Paul Stuart aesthetic is classic, yet slightly aggressive tailoring with bold colors and patterns. Their appeal is to an older, affluent customer but I think many young men today would love their clothes. Everything is made to according to the highest standards, with tailored clothing made by Samuelsohn and shoes by Grenson.
Since they only have stores in Chicago and New York not many men have heard of them. If you’re one of those who unfamiliar with the brand, check out the video and paulstuart.com. It’s gorgeous stuff.
